Stackatalbi (prototype)
Stackatalbi (prototype)
Stackatalbi is a survival game where you stack cards to collect resources and craft new items. Drag your hero over an open world, hunt, fish, farm and grow stronger to fight new foes. Play solo or online co-op with a friend (web prototype is solo only).
Inspired by Stacklands and Valheim.
Controls:
- drag cards with your mouse
- use "WASD" to look around
- SPACE or "1" to pause the game,
- "C" for crafting infos, "V" for skills.
- RMB to add to cards to your inventory.
- Card like a rock, spear etc. can be thrown at enemies to deal damage.
It kinda works on mobile (pinch zoom), but the text can be a bit small, so it's best played on desktop. Also some mechanics (like adding cards to your backpack) require RMB, so it's a bit limited on mobile devices.

Firefox browser issue:
Looks like on Firefox you can get some kind of blue overlay while playing. If this happens try another browser and it should be fine.

Wishlisted! I hope you keep working on it, I can see the potential already. The current version is a good demo, it works well and I didn't encounter any bugs.
Thank you! I'm working on it at the moment :D in the next update the boss will get a more interesting behavior (probably some kind of AOE attack) and an experimental first NPC quest system is on the way.
Also: this is currently the prototype state. A proper DEMO will be published as a separate Itch game after the prototype state is over.
Just published an update with the features from my last comment.
I can't live without this game, really good.
Looks super fun, looking forward full version!
Great game, I had fun! Gonna keep an eye out for the full release.
